NATIONAL LIBRARY DAY:THE GATEWAY TO KNOWLEDGE
National Library Day is observed on 12th August every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Padmashri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, who is also known as the ‘Father of Library Science’ in India. We conducted various activities like story telling sessions for kindergarten, reading challenge for grade I and II and vocabulary building puzzles for grade III students, besides special guided reading sessions in the Library.
These activities are aimed to foster a love for reading and highlight the importance of library as a valuable resource for learning and personal growth.
