We remember and pay heartfelt tribute to Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh, the fearless revolutionary who laid down his life for the honor and justice of our nation. On this day in 1940, he was martyred after avenging the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre by eliminating General Dyer’s accomplice, Michael O’Dwyer. Udham Singh wasn’t driven by hate — he was fueled by the pain of his people and the burning desire for justice.
His courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism continue to inspire generations. He stood tall against the British Empire, not with an army, but with unmatched resolve and righteousness. His story reminds us that true freedom is built on the sacrifices of those who dare to resist oppression.
Let us never forget the price of our freedom.
Jai Hind!
